No Smoking Public Sector Holder (NS1)

From the 1st of July 2007 all Public sector vehicles will be required by law to display an official NO SMOKING sign together with a warning that smoking in such vehicles is against the law. Failure to comply with this legislation may result in a fine of £1000 for the registered owner of the vehicle. A Public sector vehicle is any vehicle other than a privately owned vehicle that any member of the public can set foot in.

Public sector vehicles will include taxis, transporters, road haulage, lease hire, company vehicles etc. You may find out more about whether or not your vehicle needs a sign from any of the government web sites dealing with this legislation. Our holder not only protects you from the crime of having your tax disc stolen but also insures that the NO SMOKING sign is displayed within your vehicle at all times.
